How nervous were you coming down the stretch, compared with other tournaments you've won, and how do you cope with that?

Hey Gene,

Thank you so much...it was definitely a fun and exciting week for me!! Well I have been fortunate enough to be in this similar situation a few times in my career and the main thing for me to do is just to stay calm and relaxed.

In this case I was surrounded by my dad, a former teammate of mine and a very good amateur that I had played with the tournament before. Being in this group and having my dad on the bag helped me relax but yet stay focused.

As long as I just keep thinking that I am at home playing with friends or just hitting the ball around for fun I am fine. No need to stress yourself out...I love dealing with pressure situations...it only makes you a better player in the long run!! =)

Thanks!! Yes, the Colorado Open was a big win for me and I hope it’s just the beginning of many more. =) It will at least give me more confidence heading into the rest of the season!

To be honest, I have no idea how many tournaments I have won in my life. Professionally, I have won the Kentucky, Ohio, and Colorado State Opens and now a Duramed FUTURES Tour tournament. And yes, I do hope there are more to come!! Thanks Gene!! Take care!
