Golf Fitness Magazine Signs With Duramed FUTURES Tour

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 26, 2009 – The Duramed FUTURES Tour announces today that it has signed with Golf Fitness Magazine as the Tour’s “Preferred Fitness Magazine.” The Florida-based magazine’s focus is on health and fitness for golfers.

“We are aligning with one of the most significant changes in the golf industry – the incorporation of fitness into a player’s daily routine,” said Duramed FUTURES Tour Chief Operating Officer Nancy Henderson. “Our players will serve as resources to the magazine from a woman tour player’s perspective. They know that fitness is important at all levels of golf.”

Through the partnership, Golf Fitness becomes the exclusive fitness magazine endorsed by all Duramed FUTURES Tour tournaments. A reduced-price yearly subscription will be offered to all pro-am participants. The magazine will feature Duramed FUTURES Tour players monthly in website or magazine golf fitness-related stories. The magazine also will offer a contest to subscribers to play a practice round with a Duramed FUTURES Tour professional at a Tour tournament site.

In addition, Golf Fitness will provide weekly fitness tips for the Duramed FUTURES Tour’s website, duramedfuturestour.com. Complimentary subscriptions also will be offered to the Tour’s professionals and distributed to fans and volunteers at select tournament sites.
